'Mighty Ducks' actor stops in Boise while campaigning for U.S. president

An actor, known for his role in The Mighty Ducks, stopped in Boise Thursday on his campaign for the White House.

Brock Pierce is an actor, billionaire businessman and is now running for president of the United States.

Pierce announced a fundraising drive to help replace over 90,000 acres of trees destroyed by multiple forest fires including the Woodhead Fire, the Grouse Fire and others.Funds raised will be directed to the Idaho Department of Lands to help the state recovery from devastating wildfires.
