BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) — Police found marijuana during a traffic stop with two Boise teens and arrested them for intending to deliver it, possibly to sell the drugs, Wednesday night.
Boise Police say the 19-year-old boys - Conner Hemphill and Phouthong Phimmasone - were originally pulled over in 7800 block of West Ustick Road because the car wasn't staying in its lane.
When BPD saw a "black bag" on the floor inside the car, the owner granted police permission to search the vehicle; police didn't clarify which boy owned the vehicle.
Police say they found a mason jar inside the bag that was holding marijuana. Another similar bag was found, and officers found evidence that the teens would have sold the pot after delivering it.
Hemphill and Phimmasone were taken to the Ada County Jail and charged with intent to deliver (marijuana) felonies.
